 et a birdseye view of the pristine Lakes, Geothermal Parks and Volcanic Craters within the Rotorua region with Volcanic Air Safaris.Floatplane or Helicopter flights can take you over Mt Tarawera to wonder at the destruction caused by the 1886 eruption or as far a-field as White Island active vulcano for a guided tour to experience the volcanic fury of the main crater, exploring sulphur deposits, fumaroles and the remains of the old sulphur mine. Flights depart daily from the Rotorua Lakefront or by special request helicopter tours can depart from the Country Villa front lawn.
